The Centre for Plant Interpretation is a transdisciplinary platform for exploring plant communication.

How do plants communicate with each other and their environment? How do plants communicate with humans? How do humans communicate with plants?

The Centre for Plant Interpretation was initiated in Cape Town in April 2022 as an experimental platform for exploring plant communication in its various facets. It brings together artists, researchers and practitioners from a wide range of backgrounds, with the aim to develop mix-and-match methodologies that allow us to transform existing disciplines and root for more sustainable and just futures.
